| Thallus pale fawn, thin, smooth, glossy. Ascomata scattered, conspicuously sessile, open, with a well-defined thalline margin, 1–2 mm long, 0.3–0.7 mm wide. Disc black, white-pruinose. Proper exciple apically carbonised. Hymenium 175–200 µm thick. Ascospores 1 per ascus, pale brown, densely muriform, 145–180 × 30–40 µm. CHEMISTRY: No lichen compounds detected. |

| A very rare, corticolous species in south-eastern Qld; not seen in Australia since the late nineteenth century. Also in Kenya. | ||
